Indigo Instinct (The Indigo Trilogy Book Two) by Jacinda Buchmann

             They thought they were safe.
Identical twins, Tyler and Toby, escaped the clutches of a covert government agency determined to exploit their extrasensory powers. Before they regained their freedom, they acquired proof of the agency's existence, proof that was guaranteed to secure immunity not only for themselves but for their friends as well.
They took more than they bargained for.
When the brothers learn that they have unfinished business with the agency, they find themselves reunited with Indigo Children, Liliana, Grace, Eddie, and Rebecka and once again on the run.
They must rely on their instincts.
While Grace and Eddie discover that love isn't always easy, Sarah's life is thrown into turmoil, and her guilty conscience leads to fear and distrust of her own heart.
Intuition doesn't lie.
There are new players in the game and it isn't easy to know who to trust.
Sometimes the right path isn't always the easiest.
Is there a way to give the agency what they want and still retain their freedom?
Find out in Indigo Instinct, Book Two of The Indigo Trilogy.

The second book in the trilogy does require the Indigo Incite to be read first. It starts right where the last one left off. In the first book we were introduced to the different characters and, their connections and how they end up together as one group. In the second book the main focus is getting to know the characters better, their powers and special relationships that form. There is a lot more of romantic aspects to the story and action placed throughout.
There are a handful of different characters who have come together because of their similar connection as Indigo Children. They begin to form closer relationships as they separate into romantic relationships as well as diverge into different adventures as they try to find out the answers and identify the use of information they have obtained on a USB drive.
It's the characters that really drive the storyline and keep you reading. They became like friends to me and I really did care what was happening to them. I thought there was going to be more chaos regarding the plot of the trilogy and the group they were being chased by. The writing was more focused the main points of movement and the relationships. A lot more romance and heartache with an ending that hints at what maybe happening next.
I recommend the series to those who enjoy books that have a variety of different characters that are followed. They all as a group have one main focus to gain safety, but the breaking off of groups takes us into different directions and relationships that make it a much more complex story than a normal survival story. All of these characters have special powers and they use and develop them as the story continues. I enjoyed the humor and the sweetness to the budding romances I found myself smiling throughout the majority of the story.
